Back where I'm from, there were never any seasons like there are here.

Every bit of the weather was controlled and left up to the desires of the people. Did more people want it to rain? To be sunny? For flowers to bloom, letting their petals float away on a breeze? Everything left up to a vote.

It feels strange to watch everything turn dull and quiet with nothing's input but Nature's own, and just as stranger to know that it will all bloom once more very much the same way.

Do you think that most situations can be like that- a two way street that has the possibility to flourish or fade away?

Or are there things that can't ever be changed from 'good' or 'bad' once they've happened?

Just some thoughts on a nice day.

Considering that I've been on the road a lot recently, sometimes even a good fire type isn't enough.

[Truthfully, Banjou would honestly rather be in Tokyo again, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't understand that there are people who have found a home here.

That doesn't mean he doesn't understand finding this place better for the people who show up.]

It does, doesn't it? I'm not sure any of us can control what brings us here, but as long as we're here, it's important to make the most of it.

A case of opposites attract... I see.

They sound like very interesting people to be around.

There are worse places to be.

At least it's colorful and full of life, right? There's so many people to see, and places that everyone can travel to if they want.

Simply a comment, or are you not finding this place to your liking?

That's the impression I've gotten so far. The locals appear friendly, if a bit naive, and the battles seem more like a sport.

My only complaint is the endless music, and that's only a minor inconvenience.

I like it here, after all... I just wish there were other people from my home that could see this too.

They are. It's thanks to them that I was able to leave my village, so I'm very thankful I met them.

Is it alright if I ask what they did?

Believe me, I'm all ears.

Alright, give me a little bit. I'm something of a slow typer.

[And it's a longer story than most things she's written on the network.]

So this was when I was still just starting my career. I'd never actually done a big concert like this before. I'd done lots of smaller ones, of course, including something that an old friend of mine put together for up and coming artists. However, this was going to be at the most established concert hall in all the city. It was called "The Empty Set". I'm not sure if it'd be your kind of thing... But it was a beautiful place. Once you could sing there, you knew your voice would reach the most people it could for a musical career.

Enough to make any girl a little nervous, right?

I tried to treat it like any other performance. I love singing, so all I'd have to do would be to concentrate on that. That's what I thought.

It even seemed like it would turn out that way, for a while. Halfway through, however... Well, the news called it an "altercation". I have no idea how it got started. People don't always get along great when you cram them into a small space like a sold out concert hall, but it doesn't usually escalate to outright violence like that. Not in Cloudbank, anyway.

It was originally just two people, but of course others got dragged in until it had spread like wildfire. My boyfriend had to pull me off the stage- he was worried I'd get dragged into it. It never reached the stage, thankfully. I think the only reason it didn't get much worse was because someone must have called the Administrators at some point, and they got there quickly to stop it all.

It's nothing any singer would want to see happen during one of her concerts. To make the matters worse, one of the two people who kicked it all off? He kept accusing me of being some sort of instigator. I don't think he ever stopped, actually...

I meant your friends, sorry.

We could always do this over voice instead.

[Come to think of it, the cute redhead hadn't said much on New Year's Eve. It's tough to remember. He'd been pretty wasted.

Administrators, are those like police?

Anyway, it doesn't sound much like your fault. It's a concert, you have a lot of loud drunk teenage idiots looking for something stupid to do, fights happen.

Why the hell did the guy who started it blame you? Was it one of those "I only did it to impress Jodie Foster, so it's really her fault" kind of things?

Less than a day, and I'm still trying to get a grasp on the situation.

Then again, I'm sure everyone struggles at first. It's an awful lot to take in.

I can't speak anymore. There was an accident.

That's right. Admins are supposed to keep everything under control, safe, and organized.

Anyway, thank you for that. It left me pretty shaken up when it happened... I guess I've moved on since then. I'm still not entirely sure why he was like that. The only thing I've been able to think of is that somehow he reacted badly to my music.

Oh no, it's alright! I'm not really sure where to start with them - they've done a lot for me, but explaining it is kind of difficult. They crashed into my village one day and turned my life upside down, but if they hadn't, I wouldn't be in a very good place. I ended up going with them because of something that happened and I got to see more of the world. It hasn't been all good, but I'm very glad to have met them.

You're adjusting really well for only having been here half a day. I think you'll be fine.

Just to clarify- do you mean they literally crashed into your village?

Quite literally. They fell from the surface; it was a bit shocking.

Well, I've had to adjust to some strenuous situations in the past. I suppose you could call me adaptable.
