Function (4) - Text/Video

Some Pokemon can be really hard to find, can't they? I spent all day yesterday hoping that one in particular would let me find them, but it's harder than it looks.

I guess they can't all be eager.

Since I've been performing to an empty set for so long, maybe I'll let this performance be a bit more public.

Take 53.

[The post suddenly changes to video as Red sets it up against her backpack. Anyone looking past her might be able to recognize the dim layout of Union Cave at one of the many pools about. This one seems to be one of the largest, water disappearing into the darkness ahead past the little camp Red has set up.]

[There's a Chatot perched on her should as she goes to sit by the water's edge. After a few moments, some humming starts to echo throughout the cavern. It's a duet, the Chatot seeming to 'hum' along with.]

[Off in the darkness, something seems to shift it and makes the water ripple towards the shoreline.]

[Red's reply might come a bit late.]

What's the music like where you're from, then? I never left Cloudbank. Now I'm here- it feels like I should explore a lot more.

My voice isn't that good or I'd sing you some, but there's a lot of... electric guitars and drums in stuff that's popular now. Or at least that's popular the last time I checked.

It is. I... kind of like it, but it's not for everyone.

That's how music is. There's rarely anything that can reach out to every single person. We're too different. There are different things which call to us.

Yeah. I never had too much I could spend on music, so I mostly read, but there was always music playing at the mall or something.

I hope it wasn't music quite like what we all have to listen to now.

There's more instruments, usually. This sounds like music from a video game.

If I had more instruments, maybe I could do something... I wonder if you could teach a Pokemon to play?

I suppose it's all in the body shape. I imagine it's easier if you're not like a dog.

You never know. I've heard some of those psychic types can do strange things.

I wouldn't really know. None of mine are psychic types. I've got... normal/flying, electric, and normal.

Fire, electric, flying, water, and a ghost are what I have.

The ghost doesn't seem to be having too much trouble picking up things. Maybe I'll start with her.

I know a lot about animals. Mostly birds, though.

Then get birdlike Pokemon. There's plenty around. I met a Starly while on Route 29 myself.
